The Scarlet Lab website can be viewed without providing personal information, however, if you would like to purchase items from The Scarlet Lab online shop, we will require certain pieces of personal information to be able to deliver the items you purchase, and to offer the benefits of The Scarlet Lab loyalty program.

We only collect personal information that is necessary to process and deliver your order efficiently.  We will not collect sensitive information about you or any type of Commonwealth identifier.

We will only use the collected personal information to process and deliver your order.  We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.  If you do provide consent for your email address to be in The Scarlet Lab loyalty program, we will give you the opportunity to be removed from this program at any time by emailing us or using the contact us facility on The Scarlet Lab website. We will not disclose your personal information to any other entity.

Quality of personal information

The personal information we hold will be accurate and up to date as provided by you in the checkout process in The Scarlet Lab online shop. The personal information that we hold about you can be checked by emailing us. Since it is difficult to check the identity of the person emailing is, in order to ensure that we are not disclosing your information we would ask that you provide the information to us and we will confirm whether we have the same information.  If we find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly on the secure server.

Security of personal information

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in a password protected database and only those who are processing orders have access to the database. Those with access to the database are trained in privacy and security policy as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Crh).  The Act will be reviewed on a regular basis.
