Statement of repurposed leather use

We believe in the importance of reducing society’s environmental footprint. Using repurposed leather minimises our footprint.

In order to achieve this and still enjoy the decadence of leather, we source leather from preloved and rehomed furniture in an effort to upcycle and reduce waste to landfill. This means that our leather comes from different sources.

There may be slight variability in the colour, fade and grain of our leather products.

The leather is cleaned and sanitised before we lovingly hand-craft our products for your enjoyment.

Please note that the finishing techniques that we apply, using natural products, are differently amenable to each source of leather and may result in minor inconsistencies in the finish across different pieces.

Most importantly, the repurposed leather remains soft yet with superior strength to ensure durability in the roughest of play.
